About the House
A decade of building, now held under one roof.
Sharma Ganesh Holdings brings together businesses that grew from a single idea in 2015: that Nepali students deserved better guidance on their way to Korea. Everything since has grown from that root.
Our Story
From one office in Bagbazar to two countries

When Ganesh Sharma opened a study-abroad consultancy in Bagbazar, Kathmandu, in 2015, he gave it a narrow focus: South Korea. At the time it was an unusual choice. Most consultancies followed the crowd to Australia and the United States. He chose depth instead, building relationships with Korean universities one by one and staying with each student well beyond their visa.
That focus paid off. SD Miracle grew to branches in Pokhara and Chitwan, and then to a registered company in Seoul. Along the way the same problems kept appearing: applications that were hard to track, families who struggled to find reliable information, and small businesses with no affordable technology partner.
Each problem became a business. ApplyUni turned admissions into software. Khabar Sewa gave families an independent source of news. SewaSoft grew from an internal IT team into a studio. Industry bodies such as KECAN and FECE-Nepal took the push for higher standards beyond our own walls.
Sharma Ganesh Holdings is the structure that now holds these businesses together. It gives them shared capital, governance and a common standard, while leaving each with its own leadership and identity.
Our Mandate
To build, acquire and hold businesses in education, technology and media that serve people in Nepal and Korea, and to steward them with the patience of permanent owners.
Our Vision
A group of trusted, well-governed companies that outlive their founders, give Nepali talent serious work at home and abroad, and make the corridor between our two countries stronger.

Values
What we will not compromise
Stewardship
We act as custodians of the businesses we hold, for employees, customers and communities as much as for ourselves.
Integrity
Our name is on every company in the group. We protect it by doing what we say, in writing and in practice.
Patience
We measure success in decades. Short-term results never justify long-term damage.
Service
Sewa, service, is in the names of our businesses for a reason. Commerce and community are not separate for us.
Presence
Two capitals, one table
Our people work across both offices, so portfolio companies can sign, hire and solve problems in either country.
