Investment Sectors

We invest where we have already operated.

Three core sectors account for every company in the group. Each was entered as an operator before it was entered as an investor. Beyond them, we study a small number of adjacent fields with patience.

I

Core Sector

Education & Global Mobility

Helping young people study, work and build careers across borders, and building the institutions that make that journey safer.

Nepal sends tens of thousands of students abroad every year. The quality of advice, preparation and aftercare they receive shapes careers and the remittances that follow. It is a market where trust compounds and shortcuts are punished.

We have operated here since 2015. Our edge is depth in a single corridor, Nepal to Korea, rather than breadth across many, and we invest to make that corridor more transparent, better regulated and better served.

What we look for

  • Counselling and admissions businesses with clean compliance records
  • Language training and test preparation
  • Student housing, settlement and aftercare services
  • University partnerships and transnational programmes

II

Core Sector

Technology & Digital Services

Software that removes friction from the industries we already understand, and the engineering talent to build it at home.

Many Nepali organisations still run on paper, spreadsheets and goodwill. The opportunity is not to chase global software trends but to digitise workflows we know intimately, starting with admissions and education services.

We back technology businesses that have a clear first customer, often inside our own group, and a credible path to serving the wider market.

What we look for

  • Vertical SaaS for education, admissions and services
  • Digital agencies and product studios with recurring clients
  • Data and workflow tools for SMEs
  • Platforms that connect Nepal with Korean partners

III

Core Sector

Media & Information

Independent, accountable reporting for Nepali readers at home and across the diaspora.

Reliable information is public infrastructure. Families making decisions about education and migration deserve reporting that is accurate, timely and free of the conflicts of interest that are common in the sector.

We hold media assets on the condition of editorial independence, and we measure them by readership and credibility, not by influence.

What we look for

  • Digital-first news with a defined audience
  • Diaspora and community publishing
  • Educational content and explainers

Under Study

Emerging interests

We do not yet hold businesses in these fields. We are studying them because they sit close to the corridor we know, and we welcome conversations with operators who know them well.

IV

Healthcare Services

Urban Nepal's demand for reliable private healthcare is growing faster than supply. We are studying operators with strong clinical governance and the discipline to expand carefully.

V

Hospitality & Tourism

Educational, business and leisure travel between our two markets is rising. We are interested in operators who can serve that traffic with consistency and warmth.

VI

Financial Services

Tuition payments, remittances and savings for families with members abroad remain expensive and opaque. Where regulation allows, we want to back better rails.
